Jessica Heinzelman has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jessica is currently the Co-Founder and COO of Throne Labs, a company focused on solving bathroom accessibility issues through smart hardware and custom software. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Growth at Nivi, Inc. and played a key role in strategic partnerships.
Before joining Nivi, they worked at Reach Global LLC as a Principal, providing strategic research, facilitation, and advisory services to diverse organizations including Facebook, Girl Effect, USAID, Counterpart International, and DAI.
Jessica also gained valuable experience during their time at Facebook as an Inclusion Partnerships Manager, where they managed strategic social good developer partnerships. In addition, they contributed to the establishment of a technology and social innovation lab in Cambodia during their tenure at DAI as the Manager, ICT Strategic Initiatives.
Jessica has also held roles as an Active Board Member at Sisi Ni Amani, an Independent Consultant advising on ICT initiatives and new media programming, a Project Manager at Ushahidi, Inc, and a Listening Project Intern at CDA Learning Collaborative.
Furthermore, they have participated in diverse initiatives, including assuming the role of a Kiva Fellow at Lift Above Poverty Organization. Jessica's work experience demonstrates their expertise in strategy development, project management, partnership building, and their commitment to social impact.
Jessica Heinzelman attended Smith College from an unknown start year to an unknown end year. Jessica pursued a BA degree with a major in Government and African-American/African Studies. In 2009, they enrolled at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where they completed a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) in the field of International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution in 2011. Additionally, in 2010, Jessica participated in the Harvard Program on Negotiation as a Summer Fellow at Harvard University. Jessica also studied the Arabic Language at Damascus University starting in 2009, although their end year is unspecified.
