Michel Briejer

Michel Briejer is the managing partner at Thuja Capital. Michel has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Briejer started their career as a senior scientist at Janssen Pharmaceutica in 1995. Michel then became a project leader at Yamanouchi Europe in 1998. In 2003, they became the senior director at Afforce Healthcare. And in 2005, they became the senior program director proteins at Crucell.

Briejer has extensive experience in project management, drug product development, and implementation of ERP systems. Michel has helped small to mid-size pharma and biotech companies develop their drug products.

Michel Briejer attended the Huygens Lyceum, a Gymnasium in the Netherlands, before studying Chemical Technology at the Technical University of Delft. After completing their BSc, they went on to study Pharmacy at Utrecht University, where they graduated with an MSc (Cum Laude). Michel then completed a PhD in Pharmacology at Wageningen University & Research. Finally, Michel Briejer completed a SwAPP in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the University of Basel.
