Chris McCaughan has extensive experience in logistics, customer experience operations, music, and retail. Chris began their career in 1999 as the Founder, Writer, Musician, and Producer of the punk rock band The Lawrence Arms. In 2006, they founded Sundowner - Music, where they wrote, performed, produced, and released three albums. Chris also toured as a solo artist across the U.S. In 2015, they began working at Bridge & Burn as a Retail Associate. Later that year, they started working at Everlane as an Inbound Logistics Coordinator, where they managed import logistics and communications with partners across global time zones. Chris was later promoted to Inbound Logistics Lead and Logistics Associate, and then to Customer Experience Operations, where they led a team of five order analysts and reduced fraud loss by 85%. In 2020, they began working at Thuma as the Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Manager.
Chris McCaughan received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago. Chris also attended Francis W. Parker School. In July 2020, Chris obtained a Prof G Certified Strategist certification from Section4.
