Charles Liao

Charles Liao is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in iOS development and front-end engineering. Currently serving as a Senior iOS Engineer at Thumbtack since May 2021, Charles previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Etsy, where contributions included mobile expertise and feature development for various squads. Earlier experience at Yelp spanned both software engineering and front-end development, with notable achievements in project leadership and user interface design. Charles’s career began as an intern at For Art's Sake Media, followed by a role as a Front End Developer at Digital Bungalow. Charles holds a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College and a Bachelor’s degree in Radio, TV, and Film from Shih Hsin University.
