Hongxing Li

Hongxing Li is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently working at Google since July 2018 and Thumbtack since July 2016. Previously, Hongxing held positions at VMware as a Staff Engineer and Tech Lead focusing on hybrid cloud platforms from May 2014 to June 2016, and served as a Principal Software Engineer at Demandtec Inc, where the emphasis was on a Price/Promotion SaaS application, from November 2005 to May 2014. Early in the career, Hongxing worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Siebel Systems from January 2000 to 2005. Hongxing holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
