Jason Kuo

Jason Kuo has over 20 years of work experience, with a focus on IT infrastructure and support. Jason started their career as a User Interface Software Engineer at NetIQ in 2001. Jason then held various roles at Eastside College Preparatory School, including Technology Coordinator and Technology Consultant, where they oversaw the school's technology needs and implemented imaging processes for computer deployment. Jason also worked as an Associate Pastor at Baylight Church Community, where they delivered public messages and facilitated leadership development.

In 2008, Jason joined Stupski Foundation as a Systems Administrator, responsible for server, network, and infrastructure maintenance. Jason also developed and managed Mac image creation and deployment processes. Jason later worked at GreatSchools as an IT Support Consultant, providing company-wide IT support and managing vendor relationships.

Jason's career then shifted to Eventbrite, where they held multiple roles. Jason started as an IT Support Engineer and eventually became the Head of Global IT. In this role, they oversaw a global team and provided strategic oversight for IT infrastructure and service delivery.

Currently, Jason is working at Thumbtack as the Director of IT Infrastructure, a position they started in 2022.

Jason Kuo has a diverse educational background. From 1997 to 2001, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In 2005, they enrolled at the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary and completed a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Studies in 2010. Additionally, Jason participated in a Semester At Sea program in 2000, which provided him with a unique international educational experience. Apart from their formal education, they have also acquired certification as an Apple Certified Support Professional, although the specific details regarding the institution and date of achievement are not available.
