Serkan Özal

Serkan Özal is the Co-Founder and CTO of Thundra. Serkan has also held the position of Co-Founder and CEO, as well as Lead Software Engineer at the company. In addition, they are on the Advisory Board for Cloud DevNetwork. Serkan is also an Open Source Contributor for Oracle.

Previously, Serkan worked as an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at OpsGenie for 1 year 9 months. Serkan also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at MilSOFT Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş. for 6 months and at Hazelcast for 2 years 1 month. There, they worked on JCache, High-Density Memory and OSGI modules.

Serkan also has experience as a Technical Author at ZeroTurnaround for 1 year 6 months and as a Software Engineer at MilSOFT and TÜBİTAK, both for 1 year.

Serkan Özal has a PhD from Middle East Technical University, an MS in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Hacettepe Üniversitesi. Serkan also has a degree from Anadolu Üniversitesi in İşletme and attended Mustafa Kaya Anadolu Lisesi. Serkan is also certified as an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional and an AWS Certified Developer - Associate.

Serkan Özal is the Co-Founder & CTO of a small team.
