Bobby Green has been in the medical field since 1993, when they began their residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Bobby then worked as a Physician at the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Institute from 1999 to 2003, followed by a role as Managing Member and Medical Oncologist at the Palm Beach Cancer Institute from 2003 to 2012. In 2012, Bobby became the Chief Medical Officer at Cancer Clinics of Excellence, LLC, and in 2013 they took on the role of Medical Oncologist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, in addition to becoming a Member of the Board of Directors at Community Oncology Alliance. From 2014 to 2021, Bobby worked as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Clinical Oncology at Flatiron Health, and in 2016 they joined the Advisory Board of the Cancer Center Business Summit. In 2021, Bobby became President and Chief Medical Officer of Thyme Care, and joined First Round Capital as a First Round Angel Track.
Bobby Green attended Duke University from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Religion. Bobby then attended Duke University School of Medicine from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). In 1997, they attended the University of Pennsylvania and earned an MSCE in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics in 1999.
