Gav Jappy

Gav Jappy has a diverse work experience in the maritime and defense industries. Gav most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Sales Region East at thyssenkrupp MARINE SYSTEMS. Prior to that, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at Cybicom ATLAS Defence. Gav has also held various positions at ATLAS Elektronik GmbH, including Head of Sales & Product Management Vessel Systems, VP Sales Shipyards, Head of Sales (Naval Weapons), and Senior Sales Manager. Before joining the private sector, Jappy served as a Commissioned Officer (Warfare) in the Royal Navy.

Gav Jappy has a BA (Hons) degree in Communications from Queen Margaret University, which was obtained from 1992 to 1995. Gav also completed strategic management studies at ESMT Berlin starting in 2013. Furthermore, they pursued an MBA specializing in Business Strategy, Marketing, and Financial Management from The Open University Business School from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Gav Jappy received training in management and leadership from Britannia Royal Naval College during the period from 1995 to 1998. Finally, they studied shipping management at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in 2005 to 2006.
