Andreas Zinke

Andreas Zinke has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and controlling field. Andreas is currently working at thyssenkrupp as the Head of Group Function Controlling, Accounting & Risk Management, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Corporate Center Performance & Finance from February 2021 to May 2023. From January 2020 to January 2021, Andreas was the Head of Corporate Controlling, Accounting & Risk Management at thyssenkrupp.

Before joining thyssenkrupp, Andreas held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at thyssenkrupp Schulte GmbH from July 2017 to December 2019. Andreas also worked at thyssenkrupp Materials Trading as the CFO from April 2012 to June 2017 and as the Head of Accounting and Finance from October 2009 to March 2012.

Andreas has previous experience at thyssenkrupp Materials Services, where they held various roles including Head of M&A, Head of Controlling, and Head of Information Management from May 2008 to September 2009. Prior to that, they worked at thyssenkrupp's Hong Kong Office as a Senior Project Manager M&A from September 2007 to May 2008.

Andreas began their career at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA as a Senior Associate M&A from October 2000 to July 2005. Overall, Andreas Zinke has developed a strong background in finance, controlling, and mergers and acquisitions throughout their career.

Andreas Zinke earned a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1994 to 2000. In 1991 to 1993, they completed their studies as a Bankkaufmann at Dresdner Bank. Andreas also participated in various executive programs, including an Executive Program "Breaking New Grounds" at Harvard Business School in 2016, an executive leadership program at IMD in 2015, and another program at Harvard Business School in 2013.
