As Vice President, Solutions Development advancing TIAG’s strategic business unit in Charleston, S.C., Erick focuses on TIAG’s innovative service offerings that benefit existing and new customers across federal health agencies, along with the Navy and Marine Corps. Executing TIAG leadership’s vision and strategy for the Charleston region, Erick oversees TIAG’s clinical enterprise health information technology (health IT) support for Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic (previously known as Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command / SPAWAR).

Adept in supporting a wide range of federal initiatives, intelligence communities, and commercial endeavors, Erick is a fair-minded leader who’s keen on getting into the trenches with team members — empowering individuals and organizations to successful outcomes.

Best known as a go-to person who solves the most challenging technical and organizational business problems, Erick believes there’s a right and wrong way to do business, and that success should never be at the expense of one’s integrity or beliefs.

Respected by industry peers as a tenacious, strategic, hard-working federal health technology leader, Erick was a winner in 2019 FedHealthIT100, a peer-nominated award that honors those who drive change, innovation, and advancement in federal health information technology and consulting markets.

Before TIAG, Erick served as chief technology officer for CACI International Inc., improving the delivery of health care solutions for DHA, NIWC, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In his prior role as managing principal and lead architect for Life Cycle Engineering, Erick provided enterprise IT services to SPAWAR, U.S. Marine Corps, and VA. Notably, he served as chief architect to automate and modernize VA’s electronic claims processing capabilities known as Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS), making a direct impact on the health and well-being of veterans and their families.

Previously, as a senior manager and chief architect at Sapient Corporation, Erick supported numerous customers across the U.S. government, intelligence communities, and commercial arenas to create peerless technical and business solutions. Early in his career, Erick bolstered U.S. Air Force Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) efforts as a software engineer responsible for the design and implementation of components for a real-time theatre battle-management system.
