Jamison Bryant has a long and varied work experience. In 2010, they served as Executive Officer of the Lockheed Martin Robotics Club. In 2012, they were an Information Technology Specialist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and an IT Specialist at Family Allergy & Asthma Care. In 2013, they were an Engineer Trainee at Robotic Research, LLC. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Programmer at Intelligent Automation, Inc., where they wrote a communication bridge for sending joint angle/velocity commands to a robot running Linux operating system from a C++ application running on Windows, co-led an effort to improve company code base quality and integrate development best practices, and extended source code from a 3rd party to support a live video feed from a webcam on a robot to a Windows C++ application using a JAUS network protocol. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Full-stack Developer at Akooba, Inc., where they introduced tools from their own experience to the dev team that were quickly adopted into the dev stack and developed a system to perform automatic comparisons between expected and audited specifications of purchased refurb tech and generate summary reports in a variety of formats. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Sr. Full-Stack Developer at Orases. In 2021, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Akooba, Inc. and, currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Ticketsauce.
Jamison Bryant began their educational journey in 1998 when they were homeschooled until 2010. Jamison then attended Watkins Mill High School from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they attended the University of Maryland from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Robotics. In 2017, they continued their education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
