Kate P.

Kate P. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Kate started their career as a Contributor for The Student newspaper in 2011. In 2012, they became a Committee Member for Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group. Kate then worked as a Reviewer for ThreeWeeks in 2013.

In 2014, Kate joined The Skinny where they held various roles including Summer Intern, Content Engagement Assistant, Editor of The Skinny Student Handbook (Scotland), Events Editor, and Venue Listings Editing Assistant. Kate was responsible for content engagement, writing timely feature pieces, proofreading, and general administrative tasks. Kate also optimized site content for search engines and produced summaries of venues in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dundee. Kate left The Skinny in 2018.

From 2018 to 2022, Kate worked at Hearst Magazines as a Features Intern at Cosmopolitan. In 2019, they became a Beauty Writer and later a Senior Beauty Writer. In 2021, they joined Which? as a Travel Content Editor until 2022.

Lastly, in 2022, Kate joined TicketSwap as a Content Editor, where they currently work.

Kate P. attended The University of Edinburgh from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Master's degree in Linguistics and English Language. Additionally, from 2013 to 2014, Kate spent a year at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, focusing on Linguistics and English Language.
