Erik Jørgensen started their professional career in 2000 as a Ph.D. student at the Technical University of Denmark. Erik then joined TICRA in 2003 as a Research Engineer and later became the Software Division Manager in 2009. In June 2018, they took on the role of Chief Technology Officer and briefly served as CTO/Chairman of the Board at TICRA. Erik'stenure at TICRA is ongoing, and they continue to contribute to the company's technological advancements.
Erik Jørgensen began their education at Roskilde Katedralskole, where they studied mathematics from 1990 to 1993. Erik then pursued a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, from 1994 to 2000. During this period, in 1998-1999, they took part in an Erasmus program at Università degli Studi di Siena, specializing in computational electromagnetics. Erik went on to obtain a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, in 2001-2002, they spent a year as a visiting scholar at the University of Michigan, focusing on computational electromagnetics.
