Arthur N. Thorpe, Jr., MD FACOG, FACS has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Arthur N. is currently the Medical Director for Women's Health at TidalHealth, where they have been since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Gynecology Hospitalist at AdventHealth from May 2019 to July 2022. Arthur N. practiced as a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon/Urogynecologist at Clarion Hospital from January 2012 to April 2017. Dr. Thorpe started their career as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Halifax Medical Center from July 2010 to August 2012.

Arthur N. Thorpe, Jr., MD FACOG, FACS completed their education in a chronological manner. In 1992, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Howard University. Arthur N. then pursued further education and graduated from Howard University College of Medicine in 2004 with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following this, Dr. Thorpe completed their Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at York Hospital in 2009. Arthur N. later pursued specialized training in Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and completed a Fellowship at Halifax Medical Center in 2010. Dr. Thorpe is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare Administration at the Jack Welch Management Institute, with an expected completion in 2024.
