Erin Brown

Erin Brown has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Erin is currently working as the Director of Quality, Safety, and Performance Improvement at Tidelands Health since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director Orthopedics and Neurosciences and Stroke Program Coordinator for Tidelands Health from October 2021 to February 2022. Between February 2020 and October 2021, they worked as the Stroke Program Coordinator at Tidelands Health.

Before joining Tidelands Health, Erin worked at UM Upper Chesapeake Health, where they held the role of Stroke Coordinator from May 2017 to February 2020. Additionally, they worked as an RN in the Emergency Department from September 2012 to June 2017.

Erin Brown also has experience in the entertainment industry, having worked as a Background Actor/Extra on the TV show "House of Cards" from August 2015 to February 2017.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital as an RN in the Emergency Department from March 2014 to January 2015. Erin also worked at the University of Maryland Medical Center as an RN in the Cardiac Surgery ICU and as an X-Ray Technologist in the Shock Trauma Center.

In the early years of their career, Erin worked at University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center as a Diagnostic x-ray Radiographer. Erin also gained sales and management experience at CarMax, Gateway, and Circuit City, where they held various roles such as Sales Representative, Sales Manager, and Sales Manager/Trainer.

Erin started their sales career at Bell Atlantic Mobile as a Sales Representative from September 1994 to September 1996. Overall, Erin Brown's work experience includes roles in healthcare, sales, management, and the entertainment industry.

Erin Brown obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in HR from LSU Shreveport in 2020. Erin received their Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Stevenson University in 2019. Prior to that, Erin earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nursing from the Community College of Baltimore County between 1988 and 2011. Erin also holds a Radiography Certificate from the Johns Hopkins School of Medical Imaging earned in 2004. Erin has taken various courses through edX in 2015. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications, including the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality® (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in 2022 and the NHDP-BC from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 2018.
