George C.

George C. has an extensive work experience in the fields of technology, media, and healthcare. George began their career in 1990 as a Post Production Supervisor/Film Editor at Lucasfilm, followed by an Executive Producer role at Colossal Pictures in 1992. In 1995, they co-founded Media Concreate, a 3D animation studio and production company, and served as its CEO. In 1999, they joined Organic, a digital advertising agency, and was promoted multiple times for consistently exceeding growth and profit targets. In 2007, they were hired as the COO of Bebo, the third largest social networking site in the US. In 2008, they were appointed as President of Scribd, the largest social publishing site on the web. In 2010, they became the CEO of GoodGuide, a venture-backed start-up, and was responsible for product direction, strategy, marketing and hiring of engineers. In 2015, they took on the role of COO at MDsave, Inc., a company aiming to make healthcare accessible to everyone. George also co-founded Tidepool Labs in 2017 and July Health in 2022.

George C. attended Brooks School, Connecticut College, and Columbia University. George received a BA in Anthropology from Connecticut College and an MA in Social Anthropology from Columbia University.
