Matt Klimerman

Matt Klimerman is a Vice President at Tidewater Capital. His primary responsibilities include investment analysis, portfolio analysis, market research, pipeline development, and acting as project manager for several of the company's operating assets and development projects.

Before joining Tidewater, Mr. Klimerman worked for The JBG Companies in Washington, D.C. He worked on a variety of residential, office, retail, hotel, townhome, and debt investments, including the management of numerous new acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Klimerman was also an active board member of JBG's philanthropy and public art committees. His previous work experience includes roles at the CIM Group in Los Angeles, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the New York City Mayor's Office.

Mr. Klimerman sits on the governing boards of the Downtown Oakland Community Benefit District and The Lost Church, a non-profit arts organization and performance venue.

A native of Manhattan in New York City, Mr. Klimerman holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Public Policy and American Institutions from Brown University.
