Frédéric Heitzmann

Frédéric Heitzmann has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Frédéric started their career at Acamaya as an Engineer, where they designed and developed content management systems, video recording and storage systems, and multimedia databases. Frédéric also worked on ergonomics, designing and developing a software application for ergonomics analysis.

Frédéric then joined SAGEM Communication, where they held multiple roles. As a Kernel Team Leader, they were responsible for the development and support of kernel services and core drivers. Frédéric then became the OS-drivers Team Manager, where they oversaw the development of base software services on mobile phones and managed a team of 45 people. Frédéric later became the Middleware Team Manager in the "Specific products R&D unit," working on the development of base software services and middleware for specific products.

Frédéric further expanded their career at CEA, where they held various roles. As an R&D Project Leader, they led multidisciplinary projects involving algorithms, software, and hardware. Frédéric worked on building a 3G platform and an mmW RF demodulator, as well as contributed to several European projects. Frédéric then became the Senior "Edge AI" Program Manager, where they developed technology roadmaps, organized work packages, and represented CEA-LETI in internal and external communications.

In 2019, Frédéric Heitzmann joined MIAI@GRENOBLE ALPES as a Membre du bureau scientifique, and in 2022, they started their current position as the Director of Engineering at Tiempo Secure.

Frédéric Heitzmann completed their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2000 at École Polytechnique, where they pursued a degree in Physics. Following this, from 2000 to 2002, they attended Télécom Paris to earn a Diplôme d'ingénieur.
