Mikko Erkkilä

Mikko Erkkilä has extensive work experience in the field of program and project management. Mikko started their career at Tieto in 2002 as a Senior Testing Engineer and later transitioned into Project Manager roles from 2006 to 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Mikko managed a mobile payment research project as a Senior Project Manager. Mikko then took on the role of Senior Program Manager at Tieto from 2010 to 2018, overseeing investment program portfolios and coordinating synergies with Tieto's open payment ecosystem. Since 2018, Mikko has been working at Tietoevry as a Senior Program Manager and currently holds the position of Lead Project Manager. In this role, they are responsible for managing investment portfolios, business development activities, and creating future-oriented innovations.

Mikko Erkkilä's education history includes a Master of Engineering degree in Management of Technology Expertise from Tampere University of Applied Sciences (2009-2010), a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Industrial Economics from Tampere University of Technology (2006-2020), and a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications and Media Technology from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (1998-2002). Mikko also obtained a Matriculation Examination from Porin Suomalaisen Yhteislyseon Lukio (1994-1997). Additionally, Mikko has completed certifications such as IPMA-A Certified project director from Projektiyhdistys PRY, Project Management Association Finland (2017), Certified Scrum master from Tieturi (2016), and IPMA-C from Projektiyhdistys (2013). Mikko is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Data Expertise and Artificial Intelligence from Tampere University of Applied Sciences (2021-2022).
