The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide accurate information to support the decision making processes and strategic planning. The office facilitates and coordinates the collection, analysis, and delivery of data for internal and external constituents through various formats – including dynamic, interactive dashboards. Under the Office of the President, the Institutional Research Office maintains and reports data required by state and federal governments, the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), and several other external agencies such as NCAA, SARA, OFIC, and AICUO. As such, the Director of Institutional Research (Holly Allgood) is the university’s data liaison of official reporting to the U.S. Department of Education through the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). In addition, the Director oversees and supports all aspects of reporting requirements for the Move the Needle Retention initiative, as well as other continuous quality improvement and assessment data collections such as the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). Prior to joining Tiffin University in 2017, Holly served as Assistant Director of Student Operations at the University of Oklahoma and has over 12 years of Higher Education experience.
