Geoff Tidey

Geoff Tidey has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and sports. Geoff co-founded Tifosy, a global sports investment firm, in 2015 and served as the Chief Technical Officer. Prior to that, they worked at Smarta as a Ruby Jedi, where they collaborated with teams in London and India. Geoff also worked as a Ruby Developer at Tifosy, participating in a greenfield project at Pivotal Labs. Geoff gained experience as a Ruby Developer at ArenaFlowers.com, where they added functionality to their services. Geoff has a background in consulting and worked as a Consultant at Kelisto, assisting with expansion into the financial consumer market. Geoff also worked as a Ruby Developer at Fitzdares, where they developed a reliable service for collecting satellite feed data. Geoff has entrepreneurial experience as the CTO and co-founder of LoveFre.sh, a location-based service promoting local food exploration. Geoff worked as a freelancer under their own brand, Tidey.net, and collaborated with Global Dawn as a Ruby Developer, contributing to online competitions for PepsiCo. Additionally, Geoff gained technical expertise as a Technical Architect at Satellite Information Service (SiS).

Geoff Tidey obtained a BSc(HONS) degree in Computer Science from De Montfort University between 1990 and 1994.
