Alejandro Garcia

Alejandro Garcia has a diverse work experience in the accounting and finance field. Alejandro is currently working at Tigabytes - Google Cloud Premier Partner as the Corporate Chief Accountant & Head of Tax. In this role, Alejandro is responsible for producing and analyzing Financial Statements on IFRS/USA GAAP, conducting tax evaluation, planning and compliance, and leading ERP implementation for the company.

Prior to their current position, Alejandro worked at Groupon as the Accounting Controller Manager Latam. Here, they were responsible for designing and analyzing financial statements, leading regional audits, and overseeing financial and accounting integration projects. Alejandro also served as the Accounting Controller for Argentina-Peru-Puerto Rico, where they reconciled and supervised accounting bridges between different GAAPs and established accounting policies and procedures.

Before joining Groupon, Alejandro worked at Groupon Peru as the Accounting Manager. In this role, they developed monthly financial statements according to local regulations, handled tax planning and elaboration, and led implementation projects for operational accounting processes.

Prior to Groupon Peru, Alejandro started their career at Estudio Contable Ancaya & Asociados as an Accounting & Tax Analyst. Here, they were responsible for developing financial statements, calculating taxes, and supervising key accounts.

Throughout their career, Alejandro has demonstrated strong expertise in financial reporting, tax planning, and process optimization.

- From 2018 to 2019, Alejandro pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Universidad de Chile.

- In 2015, Alejandro completed a Postgraduate Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards, specializing in Norma internacionales de informacion financiera, at Universidad de Chile.

- In 2010-2011, Alejandro undertook a Tax Specialization program at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, focusing on Tributacion.
