Andrew Paizes

Andrew Paizes currently serves as the General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer at Tiger Hill Capital since March 2023. Prior to this, Paizes co-founded Argyll Consulting Limited, holding that position from April 2021 to March 2023. From February 2013 to March 2021, Paizes was General Counsel and COO at BEACONSFIELD Group of Companies. Between January 2005 and February 2013, Paizes acted as the COO of Legal & Compliance for Credit Suisse, leading the Corporate Legal Group in the EMEA region. Paizes began a legal career as a lawyer specializing in finance and banking at Clifford Chance LLP from 2001 to 2004 and was a partner at Jowell, Glyn & Marais Inc., focusing on tax and finance from 1996 to 2000. Academic credentials include a recent qualification in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge, a Master of Laws from the University of the Witwatersrand, and both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the same institution.
