Lance Robson has worked at a variety of companies since 1995. Lance began their career at Railtrack (East Anglia) PLC as a Signal Engineering Student. In 1999, they worked as a Summer Intern at AT&T Research Labs, Cambridge, where they designed, built, tested, and documented a 3D office surveying device. In 2000, they worked as a Product Engineer at Nortel Networks, conducting successful demonstrations of products to customers to help secure contracts worth up to $100M. From 2005 to 2016, they worked at Metaswitch Networks as a Core Developer and System Tester for Project Calico, pushing forward the boundaries of virtual networking. Finally, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Tigera from 2016 to present, providing the industry's only active Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP).
Lance Robson attended Epsom and Ewell High School, followed by the University of Cambridge where they obtained an MA/MEng in Electrical and Information Sciences between 1996 and 2000.
