Michael Tando

Michael Tando has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michael started their career at McKesson as a Software Developer in 2010, and later became a Software Developer II at McKesson Health IT in 2011. In 2014, they transitioned to Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Development Engineer until 2016. Then, they co-founded Fitnesia in 2017 and worked as a Technical Co-Founder until 2019. In 2018, they co-founded MetaTrip and served as a Technical Co-Founder until 2019. Currently, they are working at tiket.com, first as an AVP of Engineering from 2019 to 2021, and now as the VP of Engineering.

Michael Tando has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Michael also holds additional certifications in Startup Engineering from Coursera, obtained in September 2013, and Creative, Serious and Playful Science of Android Apps, though the specific time of obtaining this certification is unknown.
