Andris Ļaksa

Andris Ļaksa has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering and consulting. Andris is currently employed as a DevOps Engineer at tiko Energy Solutions since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a DevOps Specialist at Accenture from July 2017 to June 2022. Before joining Accenture, Andris worked as an Independent Consultant from July 2016 to June 2017.

Andris also has experience as an Automation Engineer and Web Developer/DevOps at Saint-Petersburg State Politechnical University from October 2014 to June 2016. Andris also had a brief role as a Summer Intern at ООО "Виста" in July 2015.

Before that, Andris worked as a Frontend Developer/DevOps at Savrs from February 2014 to July 2014. Andris also worked as an Independent Consultant from August 2013 to January 2014.

Andris began their career with a Summer Internship at Exigen Services in July 2013. Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure as an Independent Consultant from March 2009 to June 2013.

Andris Ļaksa attended Progmeistars from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a graduate degree in Computer Programming. Andris then pursued further education at Latvijas Universitate from 2009 to 2011, focusing on Physics and obtaining a Young Physicist degree. Following that, Andris attended Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University from 2011 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Computer Engineering.

In terms of certifications, Andris obtained the Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification from Microsoft in February 2021. Andris also obtained the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certification from CNCF [Cloud Native Computing Foundation] in March 2022, as well as the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from CNCF in August 2020.
