Ryan Northway is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design and management, currently serving as a Staff Product Design Manager at TikTok since February 2019. Prior roles at TikTok include Head of Product Design for the US, where Ryan built the US design team from the ground up and managed 25 designers across 20 business verticals, contributing to significant launches such as TikTok Sans and Effect House. Earlier experiences include co-founding JetFuel, and design roles at ByteDance, Meta, Oculus VR, and eBay, where Ryan made notable contributions to various products, including the Samsung VR platform and multiple innovative features that gained widespread adoption.
