Kal Hollywood

Kal Hollywood has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career in 2008 as an MTC Analyst at Lloyds TSB Private Banking before moving on to work as an ST Analyst at American Express from 2010 to 2012. Kal then transitioned into the role of Business Development Specialist and International Purchaser at Atyab Investments from 2012 to 2016, where they managed procurement and developed projects for food-related companies.

In 2016, Kal took on the role of Project Manager/Accounts at The Clinic Dental Facial, where they successfully oversaw the relocation and acquisition of a dental clinic. They then joined Tillo as an Accounts team member from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, Kal became a Finance Business Partner at University of Brighton Academies Trust, where they worked until 2022. Following this, they participated in a 16-week intensive bootcamp at School of Code, gaining hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer, working on various projects.

Kal is currently working as a Junior Software Engineer at Tillo since November 2022. Their experience includes pair programming, collaborating with team members, managing projects, and ensuring smooth operations across different departments.

Kal Hollywood attended the University of East Anglia from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Following this, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Business Finance and Economics at the same university. Currently, as of 2022, Kal is enrolled in the School of Code to further their education in Computer Software Engineering.
