Amber Leivo

Amber Leivo has a diverse work history in the field of photo editing. Amber started in 2010 as a Creative Manager & Buyer at Ojai Village Pharmacy, where they were responsible for designing the company's website, creating advertisements, and planning and photographing special events. In 2015, Amber worked as a Photo Editor at Ruche, Inc, where they developed techniques and custom presets to ensure accurate and efficient color correction and editing. Amber also utilized Photoshop for various image manipulations while maintaining a natural appearance. From 2016 to 2021, Amber worked as a Photo Editor at LR Creative, where they independently handled high volumes of photos, focused on color correction and image manipulation, and effectively communicated with management to meet client expectations. Currently, Amber is a Lead Photo Editor at Tillys, where they manage file organization, trains new editors, and handles daily photo uploads. Throughout their career, Amber has demonstrated strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills in the field of photo editing.

Amber Leivo pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Photography from Brooks Institute. In 2020, they attended Ventura College and obtained an Associate's degree in Psychology, which they completed in 2022. Following this, they enrolled at Utah State University in 2022 to obtain another Bachelor's degree, this time in Communicative Disorders, with an expected completion in 2024. Prior to their time at Brooks Institute, Amber also engaged in Continued Education in Graphic Design at Santa Barbara City College from 2013 to 2015.
