Wim Oerlemans

Wim Oerlemans has extensive work experience in the timber industry and related fields. Wim currently holds the role of Purchase Lead at Timberhub since November 2022. Prior to that, they were the owner of WOeT comm v. since January 2010.

Wim has also worked as a Western-Europe Sales Representative at Kaamos Timber from September 2019 to May 2022. In this role, they were part of a skilled team in Belarus and Estonia, but unfortunately, the company's activities in Western Europe ended due to EU-sanctions against Russia's war in Ukraine.

Before that, Wim held the position of Purchase at Smartt Timber Sales B.V. from February 2018 to August 2019. Wim served as the Director at Pooling Partners - Faber Halbertsma Group - Satim from September 2015 to December 2017.

Their earlier experience includes roles such as Inkoper at Lubox Holland-Houtinvoer Van Regemortel from 2000 to August 2015, Verkoper at Lambrechts hout from 1994 to 2000, and Intern/extern verkoper-logistiek at Houtinvoer Van Regemortel from 1989 to 1994.

Wim's career began with positions such as Medewerker at ASG TRANSPORT from September 1987, and Assistent at Furness Shipping from September 1986.

Wim Oerlemans started their education in 1972 at the St Gummaruscollege/Lier, where they studied Economics. Wim completed this degree in 1985. From 1983 to 1985, Wim attended Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Expedition/Shipping & Forwarding, focused on the field of study of Expeditie-scheepvaart.
