Layla Shell

Layla Shell has extensive experience in the creative operations and design sectors, currently serving as Director of Creative Operations, Color/Materials/Trend at Timberland, a VF Company, since October 2008. Prior roles at Timberland include Director and Senior Manager for Color/Materials/Trend. Previously, Layla held the position of Senior Materials Developer at New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. and worked as a Knit Designer at Collins & Aikman, where designs focused on knit upholstery for automotive clients like Honda and Ford. Layla's earlier work includes a designer role at Signs and Designs in Bergamo, Italy, specializing in knitwear for European outdoor brands. Layla holds a degree in Textile Design with a knit concentration from Philadelphia University and has studied at Accademia Italiana.
