Chris Tipton

Chris Tipton is an experienced R&D Materials Lab Technician at TimberTech since November 2021, previously holding various technical roles at L-3 Communications Cincinnati Electronics Corporation and L3Harris Technologies from May 2017 to October 2021. Chris's experience includes environmental work at Tetra Tech, where responsibilities encompassed storm water investigations, groundwater sampling, air monitoring, and training on environmental safety and hazard evaluation. Prior positions include roles at Greater Cincinnati Water Works as a Lab Tech and Water Quality Laboratory Technician Co-op, as well as a Crystal Grower and Emergency Response Team member at SUMCO. Chris holds an Associate’s Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. In addition to technical expertise, Chris has contributed as a soccer coach at Lynchburg Clay High School from 1998 to 2011.
