Kapil Dev Kumar

Kapil Dev Kumar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the telecommunications industry. Kapil Dev began their career as a Management Trainee at National Organic Chemical Industries Ltd (NOCIL) in 1991. Kapil Dev then worked at Prime Securities Ltd as a Manager from 1994 to 1997. After that, they joined HSBC Securities & Capital Markets India Pvt Ltd as a Senior Manager from 1997 to 2000. In 2000, they founded iCommerce Networks Pvt Ltd. Kapil Dev then served as an Associate Vice President at HFCL Infotel Ltd from 2001 to 2005. Kapil Dev later worked at Bharti Airtel Ltd as a Vice President from 2005 to 2007. Kapil Dev then joined Smart Digivision Pvt Ltd as a Chief Operating Officer from 2007 to 2010. Kapil Dev moved on to Jio as a Senior Vice President from 2010 to 2012. Kapil Dev then served as the President of Nextra Teleservices Pvt Ltd from 2012 to 2015. Currently, they are the Managing Director of timbl (RI Networks Pvt. Ltd.) since October 2015.

Kapil Dev Kumar began their education at Kendriya Vidyalaya in 1979 and completed their studies there in 1987. Kapil Dev then attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Kapil Dev Kumar enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad from 1992 to 1994, earning a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialization in Finance.
