Elizabeth Gleeson is a seasoned professional in the fields of education, textile design, and sustainable fashion. Currently serving as a writer and contributing editor at Time Out Group, Elizabeth has extensive experience as an educator and craft specialist at Patagonia since March 2018, where efforts are focused on mending and repairing sports garments. As the owner and creative director of URSA Textiles, Elizabeth leads initiatives for ethically-produced apparel and provides training for low-income women in Argentina. Elizabeth also heads the sewing department at Club de Reparadores, facilitating workshops promoting reuse and sustainability, and previously coordinated LUPA, a creative workshop series for youth. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Alfred University.
