Lukáš Petrovický

Lukáš Petrovický is an experienced software engineer currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Timefold Solver at Timefold since June 2023. With a robust background at Red Hat from 2008 to 2023, Lukáš progressed from Quality Engineer roles, including Quality Engineering Manager and Principal Quality Engineer, to becoming a Principal Software Engineer specializing in the development of OptaPlanner. Key competencies include Java, Artificial Intelligence, planning and scheduling, mathematical optimization, and local search. Prior to Red Hat, Lukáš worked as a Lead Developer at Smartwill Systems and held a role at CZilla managing localization projects. Lukáš holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems and Data Processing from Masaryk University Brno.
