Tom Newbould has a wealth of experience in the financial services and fintech industry. Tom began their career in 2012 as the Managing Director of 4finance, where they were responsible for establishing and launching the UK business from a zero base under OFT regulation. In 2014, they took on the role of Interim Marketing Consultant/Director at Pink Boutique Ltd and Chief Marketing Officer/CMO/Director at MYJAR, where they were responsible for the brand, customer acquisition and retention, customer journey, partnerships, and communications and marketing activity. In 2017, they became a Marketing Adviser for GLG, and in 2019 they assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer/CMO at Oakbrook Finance. In 2020, they became a Non Executive Director for the Fintech Marketing Association and Chief Marketing Officer at Goldex. In 2021, they took on the role of Head of Marketing at both Tesco Bank and Timeline, and in 2022 they became the Marketing Lead for The Investing Show.
Tom Newbould has a diverse educational background. Tom completed a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General from Durham University Business School in 2007. In 1999, they completed an MSc from Teesside University. Finally, they earned a BA (Hons) from the University of York in 1998.
