Amir Hajbaba, PhD

Amir Hajbaba, PhD has a diverse work experience. Amir began their career in 2004 as a Clients Account Manager at Rahbord Investment. In 2005, they became a Tutor at University College Cork, Ireland (UCC). In 2008, they were a Sessional Lecturer at UCC, lecturing Second and Third year Corporate Finance modules for B. Sc. Accounting and B. In 2011, they became an Adjunct Faculty at New York Institute of Technology-Vancouver Campus. In 2012, they became an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Vancouver and an Associate Professor and then Assistant Professor at University of the Fraser Valley. In 2017, they became a Managing Director at Treemark Capital and in 2018 they became a Managing Director at Pacific Phoenix Ventures Inc. and a VP Enterprise Solutions at Timely.

Amir Hajbaba, PhD has a comprehensive education history. Amir obtained a B.A. in Banking Management from the University of Economic Sciences between 2000 and 2004. Amir then went on to earn an MBS in Corporate Finance & Accounting from University College Cork in 2005 and 2006. Finally, they earned their PhD in Corporate Finance from University College Cork in 2011. Additionally, they have two certifications from the CFA Institute, the 2016 Research Challenge and the 2015 Research Challenge - Volunteer.
