Ajay Kulkarni

Ajay Kulkarni is the Co-Founder and CEO of Timescale, where efforts focus on empowering developers to create data-driven products through insights derived from time-series data, a position held since April 2017. Previous experience includes leading Sensobi as CEO and Co-Founder until its acquisition by GroupMe in 2011 and participating in GroupMe's subsequent acquisition by Skype. Kulkarni has also contributed to the entrepreneurial ecosystem as a Mobile Track Lead for the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, and has held various roles in business development and product management across multiple companies, including Microsoft. Kulkarni holds an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management, along with degrees in Computer Science, including a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab.
