Douglas Brookes has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Douglas began their career in 2001 as an Assistant General Manager at Buffalo Wild Wings, where they played a key role in establishing the store as a franchise training unit. Douglas then joined Damon's International as a Kitchen/Service Manager, where they successfully turned around the sales and profitability of an underperforming restaurant. In 2008, Douglas joined Robinson Memorial Hospital as a Client Services Engineer, responsible for providing technical support. Douglas later joined Emdeon as a Data Center Analyst, managing data center operations.

In 2013, Douglas joined The Timken Company as an IT Analyst, where they facilitated the separation of the Steel business into a new company. Douglas also contributed to the Legacy Data Warehouse Retirement project, ensuring a smooth migration of data.

Most recently, in 2018, Douglas worked as a Google Rater at Lionbridge Global Sourcing Solutions Inc.

Douglas Brookes has a diverse education history. Douglas attended Kent State University from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Computer Information Systems. During their time at Kent State University, they also pursued an Associate of Arts degree in CIS from 2009 to 2011.

In 2006 and 2007, Douglas attended Techskills, where they earned a MCSA certification in Information Technology. Before their college education, they attended Syracuse University from 1996 to 1997 but did not graduate, studying Public Relations & Political Science.

Douglas completed their high school education at East Liverpool High School from 1992 to 1996, earning their diploma.
