Harold Alexander Jimenez Torres has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering. Harold Alexander started their career as an Auxiliar de ingeniería at Ingeniería de Bombas Equipos y Suministros S.A.S., where they were involved in installing hydraulic pumps and executing sanitary networks. After that, they worked as an Ingeniero diseño de reforzamiento de estructuras at Técnicas Colombianas de Ingeniería, where they focused on reinforcing structures that did not comply with seismic resistance standards.
Following this, Harold worked as an Ingeniero residente de obra at Inversiones y Construcciones R.E Ingenieros, overseeing the construction and execution of infrastructure projects. Throughout their career, Harold has demonstrated a strong understanding of civil engineering design principles, such as utility, grading/earthwork, drainage, access road design, and erosion and sedimentation control. Harold Alexander has also utilized their expertise in stormwater management, green infrastructure, and low impact development principles. Harold Alexander Jimenez Torres pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they attended Universidad Militar Nueva Granada where they earned a degree in Ingeniería civil, specializing in civil engineering. Moving forward, they enrolled at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2017 and completed their studies in 2018. During this time, they obtained a degree in Ingles with a focus on foreign languages and literature. In 2020, they received specialized training in SAP2000 and ETABS Estructuras Metálicas at Spectra Inge, expanding their knowledge in Metal Structures.
