Marc James

Marc James has a diverse and extensive work experience in the early years and childcare sector. Marc currently serves as the Quality Assurance & Registration Lead at Tiney, starting in 2022. Prior to this, in 2021, Marc served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Creative Futures (UK) and as the LEYF Support Manager at London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), from 2021 to 2022.

Marc has also held various leadership roles in different organizations. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Nursery Manager at London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) and concurrently served as the Chair of 'LEYF Men in Childcare' from 2018 to 2019.

Additionally, Marc has contributed to the early years field through their involvement in MITEY (Men in The Early Years) as a Steering Group Member from 2019 onwards, and as a Group Business & Teaching Consultant at Little Shipmates Group Limited from 2019 to 2020.

Marc's work experience includes roles focused on training and development. Marc served as an Associate Trainer at the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) starting in 2023. Furthermore, they took on the responsibility of leading the launch of a nursery group, called The WonderWorks, as the Head of Early Years from 2020 to 2021.

Overall, Marc James has demonstrated their expertise and commitment to the early years and childcare sector through their various leadership, training, and consultancy roles.

Marc James attended the University of Winchester from 2008 to 2011 and completed a Foundation degree in Childhood Studies.
