Steven McConnell

Steven McConnell currently serves as the General Counsel at Tinker Federal Credit Union since February 2022 and has held the position of Minister of Music/Organist at The First Baptist Church of Oklahoma City since January 2009. Prior to this, Steven acted as Chief Risk Officer & Legal Counsel and Vice President & General Counsel at WEOKIE Federal Credit Union from January 2014 to February 2022. Steven's legal career includes serving as General Counsel at Legacy Bank-Oklahoma from October 2006 to January 2014, and as an attorney at Debee Gilchrist Attorneys & Counselors and Durbin Larimore & Bialick, P.C. in the mid-1990s. Steven began the legal profession as a Licensed Legal Intern/Associate Attorney at Steece, Matthews, Gray & Peacher, P.C. Steven holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Oklahoma City University School of Law and dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Music from the University of Oklahoma.
