Amy Carson has worked in various roles in the education field since 2003. Amy was a Harris Fellow in Early Childhood Education at Calvin Hill Day Care Center and Yale Child Study Center from 2003 to 2004. Amy then worked as a Research Assistant to Dr. Sharon Lynn Kagan at the National Center for Children and Families, Teachers College, Columbia University from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Kindergarten Teacher and 4th Grade Teacher at Rodeph Sholom School. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as an Assistant Principal and Founding Teacher (Kindergarten) at Brawerman Elementary School East. Amy currently works as a Leader and Leader Trainer at Tinkergarten.
Amy Carson received their M.S.Ed. in Early Childhood Leadership from Bank Street College of Education in 2010. Prior to that, they earned an A.B. in Psychology from Harvard University in 2002.
