Christina Louise Roach has held various roles in the field of environmental protection, education, and leadership since 2004. Christina Louise began their career in 2004 as a Preschool Teacher at La Petite Academy. In 2007, they worked as a Field Instructor at Christodora: Nature, Learning, Leadership, teaching natural science and community-building leadership curriculum to New York City public school students. In 2009, they became a Lead Outdoor Classroom Instructor and Wilderness Trip Leader at Chewonki Foundation, leading middle school and high school groups on overnight environmental education experiences. In 2013, they became a Program Leader at The Outdoor Education Group, delivering outdoor education, place-based programs for primary and secondary students. In 2016, they worked as a South Florida Family Programs Manager for FINS (Families in Need of Services) at North Carolina Outward Bound School, coordinating and providing experiential learning-based, social-emotional case management services for at-hope youth and families in the South Florida tri-county area. That same year, they also worked as a Lead Program Staff at City Kids Wilderness Project, organizing and successfully co-leading outdoor summer program wilderness trips and camp day-programs for youth from Washington D. C. In 2021, they became a Program Specialist at AOK SCHOLARS FOUNDATION, directly coaching and supporting former foster care youth, young adults experiencing houselessness, and first-generation post-secondary students. In 2022, they worked as a Seasonal Sales and Customer Support Representative at REI, a Leader at Tinkergarten, and a Training Specialist II, Interpretive Services Training Specialist, and FLCC AmeriCorps Member at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Christina Louise Roach holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, with Minors in Education and Anthropology, from the University of Florida. Christina Louise also holds certifications from the ACPA–College Student Educators International, Pachamama Alliance, Children's Services Council of Broward County, Earth Activist Training, American Safety and Health Institute, SOLO Wilderness Medical School, Crisis Prevention Institute, FEMA, NCWG, and The Nature Conservancy.
