Tony Davison has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tony began their career as a Programme Manager at Bombardier Transportation from 2002 to 2004. Tony then worked as a Programme Manager at the Environment Agency from 2004 to 2006. Tony later served as the Group IS Director at Archant from 2006 to 2014, where they played a key role in defining and delivering Group-wide MIS and Business Intelligence solutions. Tony also led the successful implementation of the Digital Strategy, which contributed to a significant increase in brand awareness and the development of new customer channels. After leaving Archant, Tony became the Head of IT at Morrisons from 2014 to 2016, where they were responsible for the strategy, delivery, and service for the Manufacturing, Supply chain, and Logistics Business Divisions. Tony then worked as a Principal Consultant at Emergn Limited from 2016 to 2017, specializing in digital transformation initiatives. Tony's next role was as the Head of IT at Pavers Shoes from 2017 to 2019, where they were responsible for end-to-end IT services and the delivery of a rolling 3-year IT strategy. Tony also introduced Agile best practices to enable incremental and test-driven delivery across various projects. Tony then took a break from work before becoming the Chief Technology Officer at Datman Ltd from 2020 to 2020, where they led the technology strategy and operational services. Tony'smost recent position is as the IT Transformation Manager at Discovery Inc from 2020 to 2021, where they provided consultancy on defining target IT services platforms, processes, and workforce gap/impacts. Tony currently serves as the IT Director at TIP Trailer Services starting from 2021.
Tony Davison has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng(hons)) degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sunderland. Tony also has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical and Production Engineering from the same university. In addition, they obtained certifications in Mastering Successful Programmes Practitioner (MSP) and PRINCE2 Practitioner in 2005.
