Blayne Kercher

Blayne Kercher has extensive work experience, starting in 2010 as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Acorn Product Development. In 2012, they joined Reed Elsevier as a LexisNexis Student Associate and Social Media Manager. Around the same time, they also worked at Lam Research as a Law Clerk, where they reviewed, edited, and drafted contracts. In 2013, Blayne worked as an Associate Editor at Sports Law & Ethics. In 2014, they served as a Legal Extern at the San Jose Sharks, where they handled various legal tasks and policies. They also worked as a Legal Fellow at the Wikimedia Foundation, handling Digital Millennium Copyright Act take down notices. In 2015, Blayne joined QWCooper as an Associate Attorney, a role they held until 2020. They then moved on to Tipalti, starting as a Commercial Counsel, then progressing to Senior Commercial Counsel, leading a team of commercial counsels. Currently, Blayne holds the position of Director, Legal - Product & Commercial at Tipalti.

Blayne Kercher began their education at UCLA in 2005 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2010. After that, they pursued further education at the Santa Clara University School of Law from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained their J.D. degree with a focus on High Tech Law, Sports, and Business Law.
