Robert Rychlik

Robert Rychlik has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Robert started their career as a Software Developer at Teletrader from 2000 to 2001 before moving on to work as a Software Developer at Deltavista in 2002.

From 2003 to 2010, Rychlik worked at Sabre Polska. Robert held various positions including Senior Analyst/Developer, Analyst/Software Developer, Software Development Supervisor, Development Manager, Manager, and Director. During their time at Sabre Polska, Rychlik was responsible for leading teams, managing product development, and overseeing the maintenance and development of inventory systems for airlines.

In 2010, Rychlik joined Sabre Corporation where they held roles such as Lead Engineer - Airline Solutions, Lead Engineer - Fabric Systems, Director Systems Engineering, Director Systems and Cloud Engineering, and Head of Cloud Center of Excellence. Their responsibilities included driving operations best practices, managing cloud adoption programs, and coordinating high TPS projects.

Since 2017, Rychlik has been working at Tipico as the Director of Technology. Their responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and leaders in various locations, overseeing enterprise operations and corporate IT, and managing shared services such as incident and change management, IT security, and capacity planning.

In 2019, Rychlik relocated to Malta to work at Tipico's headquarters.

Robert Rychlik earned their Master's degree in Information Technology from AGH University of Krakow from 1996 to 2001. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended 1 SLO Katowice, but the degree name and field of study for that period are not provided. Robert Rychlik has also obtained several certifications, including the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022, the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert in August 2020, and the Security on AWS training certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2019. Robert has obtained various other certifications related to AWS, ITIL, Java programming, and database management throughout their career.
