Umang Dedhia

Umang Dedhia has an extensive background in design, with work experience spanning several companies and roles. Currently, Umang is a Product Designer at Tiqets, where they focus on customer engagement and improving the design and user experience of the Tiqets app on iOS and Android platforms. Prior to this, Umang worked on the Tiqets web platform, specifically improving landing pages, as well as B2B portals, where they were responsible for enhancing the affiliates portal.

Before joining Tiqets, Umang founded Umadii, a design studio, where they collaborated with experts from various disciplines to provide design solutions for start-ups, companies, and organizations. Their work at Umadii included successful projects in UX/UI design, web design, branding, and visual design for clients such as Flipkart, Jio World Centre, and Borosil, among others.

Umang also has experience working as a Senior UI/UX Specialist at Forbes and as a Graphic and Web Designer at an unnamed company. Additionally, they held positions as a Graphic Designer at Opposite, a Designer at 22 Feet Communications Pvt. Ltd, and internships at Vision & Reality and IdeeFixe Designs & Communication Pvt. Ltd. throughout their career.

Umang Dedhia completed their high school education at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics from 2006 to 2008, where they studied commerce. Following that, they attended Rachana Sansad College of Applied Arts and Craft from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued a degree in Applied Art with a focus on advertising and design. In terms of additional certifications, Umang obtained a certification in Information Structuring, Architecture, and Visualization from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in October 2015. They also received a certification in Learning Design Thinking from LinkedIn in September 2021.
