Pirkko Tamsen

Pirkko Tamsen is an experienced professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as a Board Member at TIRmed Pharma and Arandi Innovation AB, the latter of which provides consultancy and investments in life science product development. Pirkko has held significant positions in various organizations, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer at OncoZenge AB, and Board Member roles at akta Pharmaceutical Development, AlzeCure, Örebro Universitet Enterprise AB, and others. With a PhD in Zoophysiology and a Master of Science in Scientific Subjects Education in Biology and Chemistry from Uppsala University, Pirkko has contributed to enabling commercialization of scientific discoveries and fostering collaborations across multiple sectors through previous leadership roles, including Head of Uppsala University Innovation.
